The Winter of Injustice

Her lawyer explained

and the rapist was freed,

all because the CPS founder.

She relives the scene,

the brutal nightmare binds her,

and liberated he’s free to further haunt her.

Broken wings of women,

abused and violated, sink into

the mired ground of male malevolence.

Braced in courts faces,

prejudicial trial, persons perjuring,

biased justice screwing her over again and again,

Police are found guilty

misogyny in their voices and texts

and purposely held trials that uphold the guilty.

It’s winter always for her,

frozen for long paining years,

out of equity by the mighty judicial  scales.

Tis not all but he is many,

blinded to the awesome wonder she is,

he’s tortured by truth and guilt grown nightmares.
